Kritpal Bhogal is a respected and leading specialist solicitor. He practices several areas of Law.

He is one of the few immigration specialists who pioneered the earlier challenges in Administrative Law and still remains a formidable advocate of his clients. He is supported by a network of very experienced and reputable barristers with whom he has worked over the years. A few examples of his work include challenging delegated legislation in the UK, initiating litigation resulting in changes in police informant’s policy and the legal challenge to work permit arrangements for asylum seekers.

In the last few years he has used his experience to develop a highly successful Immigration department acting for UK’s leading companies in the hotel, education and hospitality industries. He has conducted scores of successful judicial reviews many of which have positively influenced Immigration policy. He has been in the legal field for more than 15 years.

He has also had conduct of Family work for some 10 years and takes a keen interest in the department.

He was articled at Messrs Preuveneers and company where he single handedly developed one of the leading immigration departments. He is one of the founding members in 1998 of Bhogal Lal and set up a succession practice in 2004, namely Bhogal Partners. Several of his cases have been the subject of press articles. He was one of the first Asian solicitors to give advice on the national networks advice television.

A recent high profile case involved one of the rarest orders in the High Court ordering the return from India of a wrongly deported immigrant. He recently acted for a member of the family of a leading Indian politician. He continues to act for several individuals who invest in the U.K both in property and commercial enterprise. He is one of the leading solicitor’s dealing with the Afghan, Sikh and Hindu community. His practice was influential in the representation of cases relating to immigration detainees from Afghanistan. He is known by the immigration service and the courts in relation to several successful applications for injunctive relief. The work has often been commended.

Augustus Agyemang practices Administrative law, Immigration Law and Human Rights law. He provides the practice with his wide experience and knowledge, also providing the practice with the benefit of his excellent drafting skills. He has several years experience as both an advocate and solicitor in 3 Commonwealth countries. He used to practice Criminal law both as a Prosecution and Defense Barrister. He was called to the Bar in England and Wales in 1992 where he practiced Criminal and Immigration law. He was in the thick of things in the days of Immigration appeals at Thanet House, detentions of asylum seekers at Nobel Drive Immigration centre and Queen Elizabeth Buildings Heathrow when the asylum seekers of the early 1990s sought refuge in the UK. He is an old and experienced hand.

He was called to the bar in Ghana in 1981 and worked as an Assistant State Attorney at the Attorney Generals Department as a public prosecutor from 1981-82. He later took up private practice as a civil litigator in Ghana. In autumn 1992 he was admitted to the bar at the Inner Temple, London. In June 2000 he was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and now practices as a Solicitor at Bhogal Partners. He recently became a Partner.
